– Sepang International Circuit is planning
plenty of off-track events for the family,
constantly looking for ways to make racing more
and more fun and exciting for Malaysian and
overseas fans.
Providing entertainment for all levels of the
family tree, SuperGT International Series
Malaysia remains as the best race ever align
with its new motto Alive with Adrenalin. It is
hugely popular of the handicap system where adds
ballast on the cars are based on qualifying
position and individual lap times, and even in
specific modifications.
Prior to the Super GT, Sepang International
Circuit will be having the inaugural Sepang
1000km from June 4 to 6. The new event caters
for cars below 1900cc is created from the MME
which is an annual event every August.
Super GT which showcase the world's fastest and most stylish
sports cars has always been the main attraction
of Super GT. Not forget the GT Queens which hold
one of key component which attract in their own
way. The teams and their sponsors would be
bringing their grid girls and there would be the
pit walkabout where fans can get closer to the
race cars and the GT Queens to take their
photographs
At the home soil during the coming weekend,
Malaysia's Petronas Tom's SC430 would be
competing in the GT500 class while M7 Mutiara
Motors Amemiya SGC 7 would be contesting in the
GT300 class.
'Taking Motorsports To School' programs is
inviting selected school to the circuit and
share the excitement and first hand experience
with the drivers. The organizer hope that this
program would inspire them at an early age and
bringing interest for motor sports.
SIC would also be organizing a special programs
for kids, where parents can bring their kids to
a pit lane Kids Walkabout on Saturday. Tickets of
the Main Grandstand can be purchase at only
RM100. SIC is also offering a special family
package at RM250 for four Main Grandstand
ticket. Children below seven years old are free
admission. Passes for Sunday's Pit Walkabout are
sold at RM100 while parking charges for bikes at
RM2, cars at RM5 and bus at RM20.
