After a hiatus of more than 10 years Malaysia
will be sending a Wild Card entries to this
year’s MotoGP 125cc event. Elly Idzlianizar
Ilias and Mohd Zulfahmi Khairuddin were short
listed from the Malaysian Wild Card program
which initially started with 16 participants.
The Wild Card is a collaboration between the
SIC, Motorsports Association of Malaysia ,
Automobile Association of Malaysia and Two
Wheels Motor Racing. The final Wild Card rider
and Malaysian 125cc Wildcard Team will be
unveiled on 8th October, at Sepang International
Circuit.
Malaysia MotoGP Championship, the most elite
motorcycle event in the world is back to thrill
Malaysian fans from 23rd to 25th October with 3
days of adrenalin pumping track maneuvers and
spectacular displays of speed on two wheels!
The Malaysian leg of the race which is held at
the Sepang International Circuit is the
penultimate round of the FIM MotoGP World
Championship and it is the 19th year that we
have played host to this world class motor sport
event.
MotoGP is hailed as one of the most widely
watched motor sport events with over 200
countries broadcasting it live on the same day
and coverage delivered to 337 million households
worldwide.

“For the first time, Dorna (the exclusive holder
of the commercial and TV rights of MotoGP) will
be having an exclusive starting grid passes
which money can’t buy where lucky fans will have
the opportunity to be up close and personal with
the riders before the race starts!” said SIC CEO
En Razlan Razali.

most prestigious championship in motorcycle
racing and we are proud to be the only country
in South East Asia to host such an esteemed
event”
Malaysian MotoGP is expected to be the most
interactive ever where fans can be more than
spectators and be presented with money can’t buy
experience and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity
to meet the riders and teams through the various
activities that will be organized by the SIC.
That is not all, organiser of Sepang
International Circuit also prepare off track
programmes that visitor and MotoGP fans can
looking forward. Amongst the exciting programmes
are Bikes Showcases, Guided garage tours, Race
side by side the MotoGP riders in a special go
kart event, Taxi rides on the track in MotoGP
Official Safety Car, 2 wheels stunt shows, Pit
walkabout session and Autograph sessions on 24th
October
The F&B offering this year also promises to be
more tantalizing with a wide selection of brands
such as KFC, Pizza Hut, A&W, Ayamas, Secret
Recipe as well as local kopitiam favourites that
are affordably priced.
To ensure that fans have all the convenience of
transportation, SIC has taken the necessary
measures to provide circuit transfers in
collaboration with SkyBus at strategic pick up
points in Klang Valley, Nilai, LCCT and KLIA.
Tickets are priced reasonably from RM4 to RM15
per way.
Malaysian MotoGP tickets are only RM80 for Main
Grandstand and RM30 for K1 Grandstand. Paddock
Village passes is RM2,000 for 2 days access with
complete set of hospitality in our Paddock Club
suites. These tickets are available at SIC
ticket outlets in SIC, KL Sentral, Kiosk in LCCT

Starting next week a roving team will be going
around for a nationwide tour in their Malaysian
Motorcycle Grand Prix tour truck to promote the
event and bring it closer to its two wheel fans.
