Malaysia Tourism is an annual beauty pageant
organized in Malaysia, selecting a Winner
to represent the country in the Miss Tourism
International World Final held annually
with a participation of more than 40 countries
from around the world.
The Miss Tourism International Title
is a home grown event started in 1994
by Datuk Danny Ooi and the World Final
has been successfully organized in Malaysia
for the last 10 consecutive years.
The Miss Tourism Pageant is an event
to promote Goodwill and Friendship among
the participants as well as assisting
in the promotion of local tourism. The
Winner of Miss Malaysia Tourism will
also act as our ambassadress and to
assist our Tourism Ministry in promoting
Malaysia to the delegates while participating
in the World Final.
Tonight Miss Malaysia Tourism 2006 National
Grand Final will see the participation
of 12 finalists selected from various
states. (Contestants List as enclosed)
The Winner will be crowned by last year
Miss Malaysia Tourism 2005, Miss Elaine
Stephanie Tibok.
The Guest of Honor for the Miss Malaysia
Tourism Grand Final is the Deputy Minister
of Tourism, YB Dato' Lim Siang Chai.
The Miss Malaysia Tourism Grand Final
is organized by Beauty Info Sdn Bhd,
and the Franchise Owner of the Miss
Malaysia Tourism Title is Datuk Danny
Ooi.
